Wei-San Hsu is a Los Angeles based composer for film and media, originally from Taipei, Taiwan.
She received a Professional Music Diploma from Berklee College of Music and a Master’s degree in Film Scoring from New York University.
Wei-San has scored films and animations that have gained major awards and attention at prestigious film festivals.
In addition to film scoring, her song has won the “World Best Chinese Songwriter Award”. Her commercial music could be heard in national TV networks in the United Sates.
In 2017, Wei-San was selected as a winning composer at Los Angeles Live Score Festival, where her score was performed live to picture by Helix Collective.
In 2018, Wei-San scored “The Silk and the Flame”, a documentary feature film by director Jordan Schiele, premiered at the 68th Berlin Film Festival in the Panorama lineup.
