After finishing undergrad from Berklee College of Music I moved to Los Angeles and have been working with different musicians on various projects since then. Ishita Sinha is a composer, arranger and vocalist who has used her talents internationally to contribute to film, television, internet, and live music performances. Ishita’s work is featured in “Namiya”, a Chinese feature-length film staring Karry Wang Jun Kai and Jackie Chan, where she worked with renowned Emmy award winning composer, Nathan Wang. She has worked as a solo vocalist on the background score of the popular CW and Netflix series “The 100”. Ishita also composed the Brand Theme for one of India’s oldest and well-reputed movie theaters, Regent Theater, established in 1929.

Having trained extensively in Indian Classical music in her native country India, Ishita has worked with Oscar and Grammy award winning composer A.R. Rahman, and National Film Award winning composer Shankar Mahadevan. Ishita was featured as one of the lead singers in the promotional video that was created for the A. R. Rahman and Berklee Indian Ensemble concert in Boston. The video has been viewed over 15 million times.

She also took the stage as a featured artist at the prestigious events such as the Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava and Bodhisattva International Film Festival. Ishita has contributed musical compositions to commercials for Carrier United Technologies, India. Her composition “Bhumi” has received exceptional reviews on YouTube and has over 160,000 views.

She currently works as a freelance composer/vocalist and at TV composer Tree Adams’ Treehouse Music in Los Angeles, California.
