With a start in classical piano at age 2, Cheryl developed her skills at writing for the moving image while watching cartoons. Fast forward twenty years to composing for commercials, documentaries, and College Humor, this pianist-turned-singer-songwriter-turned-film-composer is making waves.

Cheryl is a composer, songwriter and branding consultant. She has become known as a powerhouse in the music-creation world across several entertainment industries including the film, advertising and music industries. She speaks at conferences and gives workshops on the importance of music in branding, developing a branding strategy that is aligned with all media assets, being an independent musician, and creating a career to love. She is an avid writer, her award-winning blog "Living On Gigging" being her main outlet. Her successful E-course is called "In The Key Of Success: The 5 Week Jump Start Strategy" and she is currently working on its sequel.

After graduating from Cornell University, Cheryl got her start at post-production house Crew Cuts, and then shifted over to the jingle world, working as a tech and music supervisor before transitioning into a composer. During her work in the advertising world, she was performing for thousands with her own band and promoting her 4 piano-pop records, garnering dozens of TV and film placements, radio play and appearances on shows like the FOX morning show. She studied orchestration at Juilliard School of Music in Manhattan.

Currently, Cheryl is working with companies and artists to develop their brands and careers in addition to providing custom music to clients including films, small businesses and Fortune 500 corporations.
