Amie is a composer for film and media from Galway, Ireland. Over the past few years, she has lived, worked and studied in London, Seoul, Vietnam, India, and Spain, and is currently based in Los Angeles. Her feature film work includes Feast Of Varanasi starring Adil Hussein (Life of Pi), horror-thriller The Shades, and Tumbleweed starring Vincent Pastore (Goodfellas, The Sopranos) and Al Sapienza (Godzilla, The Sopranos). Amie has collaborated on projects written, directed or produced by Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Jurassic Park), James Franco (The Interview), Michael Bay (Ouija, Transformers), Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious), with composers such as Ben Decter (CSI:Cyber, Extant), Joachim Horsley (Rapture Palooza), Anton Sanko (Rabbit Hole, The Possession) and Sarah Schachner (Assassin's Creed: Unity, The Lazarus Effect), and with musicians such as Ben Folds and John Legend. She has recorded scores with The Hollywood Studio Symphony, The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, The Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra, and the English Session Orchestra, at 21st Century Fox Scoring Stage, Warner Bros. Scoring Stage, and Abbey Road Studios.

In 2013, Amie was honoured to receive the ASCAP Foundation Harold Arlen Award after being chosen as one of 12 composers worldwide to participate in the legendary ASCAP Television & Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis in Los Angeles. She also won a place on the highly competitive Soceity of Composers and Lyricists Mentor Program in Spring of 2014, and was mentored by composer Ron Jones (Family Guy, Star Trek: The Next Generation) during her time scoring Counter for Film Independent's Project Involve. Counter went on to screen at dozens of film festivals worldwide, and earned her a Best Original Score nomination at the Idyllwild International Film Festival.

Amie graduated magna cum laude from Berklee College of Music's Masters program in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games, where she was awarded the Howard Shore Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music (major: music technology) from Trinity College, Dublin.
