Born and raised in cold yet cozy Canada, Agatha began playing piano at an early age. Her love for writing music lead her to study Film Scoring at New York University. Her music has been performed and presented at the Studio of Visual Arts (SVA) Theatre, (le) Poisson Rouge, Merkin Hall, Symphony Space, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.

Agatha has written original scores for many successful films that have been premiered in prestigious film festivals as Cannes, Tribeca, Slamdance, Los Angeles Film Festival, and the Student Academy Awards. In 2011, she took part in the ASCAP/Columbia Film Scoring Workshop and the NYU/ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop (under The Sorel Organization Women Composers Scholarship). The year ended with her receiving the David Rose Award from the ASCAP Foundation. She provided music for the CNN documentary, Obama Revealed, which premiered as a lead up to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in September. Other networks that have picked up projects which she has worked on include Dreamworks and PBS.

Agatha worked on director Mark Raso’s feature, Copenhagen, which won the Audience Award at the 2014 Slamdance Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at both the Gasparilla and Florida Film Festival. It is now available on Netflix. She collaborated with Mark once again on his next film, Kodachrome (starring Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis and Elizabeth Olsen) which will have its world premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.

In addition to film scores, she has also written commercial music for such products as Rado, Ajax and Palmolive.

Agatha is currently based in Los Angeles and Toronto.
